INDICTED. Mathias Rust, 22, the West German youth who brashly landed a small private plane in Moscow's Red Square in 1987; for attempted murder in the 1989 stabbing of a student nurse; in Hamburg. Rust, while doing a term of civilian service at a hospital in lieu of military service, allegedly knifed an 18-year-old nurse who had resisted his attempts to kiss her. She survived lung and stomach wounds.
